Big Bay Allen
Based out of Russell PA, Big Bay Allen is a singer/songwriter who has been honing his craft for more than 30 years with more than 20 albums under his belt. A multi instrumentalist, his style ranges from acoustic blues, to folk, to instrumental/traditional Celtic, gospel. Throughout his accomplished career, he has shared the stage with many renowned musicians such as Jim Kweskin, Lauren Mann, Jason Dunn, Meredith Axelrod, Billy the Kid, and others! Big Bay's first Lightning In A Bottle records release "Love One Another" will be available on all platforms 10/31/24, but you can download your early copy at Bay's band camp page here.

Bay began playing music at an early age, and before he was even in high school, his band won the school talent show at Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach, Va (where Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes was one of the judges!) he was also awarded winner of Spotts Music songwriting Competition in Indiana, Pa.
Bay went on to host open mic nights regularly at the legendary Casa Blanca Café in Virginia Beach, then he moved to Pennsylvania to attend university where he played frequently, and hosted Open Mic Nights in Indiana, PA at The Coney Island, and he also shared hosting a regular blues night at The Brown Hotel in the early 2000’s.
Since then, he has written many songs, written the theme music for the popular sports podcast, “Harry Hog Football,” rewritten the music for Sam Shepard’s play, “Tooth of Crime” (which was performed live in the LCB Building of the Lost Colony in a Manteo, NC!), he has recorded more than 20 albums, played many shows, conferences, and festivals throughout Pennsylvania and on the east coast, and has recently performed and taught classes on staff at California Autoharp Gathering just outside Fresno, Ca.
