Nicknamed "Powder" because of his explosive guitar style, Josh Makosky has been burning down PNW clubs for years. His appearance at the 2022 Waterfront Blues Festival in Portland OR virtually set the stage on fire and introduced him to an international blues audience. And they loved him. With a veteran band backing him, his shows are a demonstration in passion, technique, originality, and musicality. In one word, this artist is explosive.

Josh's album of original material is expected to be released on Lightning In A Bottle Records in Spring of 2024 and will feature several tracks with recently departed, much beloved Portland bass fixture Calen Uhlig. Stay tuned for details on this release.
