Lightning In A Bottle demonstrates its commitment to the future of the genre with two new artists; 19 year old TJ Wong and 18 year old Andrew Matthews. Both bring virtuoso guitar skills, world class vocal abilities, strong songwriting, and a confident stage presence to the show.
TJ Wong has signed a Production and Distribution agreement with LIAB records. Preproduction begins on his yet to be named album January ‘22 with an expected release date potentially in late Spring of ‘22. TJ is an endorsing artist for Tagima guitars.
Andrew Matthews has been signed to an Artist In Development deal and is currently writing the songs for his first album, release date TBA. Andrew has studied under Jennifer Batten for the past few years and is an endorsing artist for PRS guitars.
Both artists have expressed interest in competing in the ‘23 IBC’s and LIAB records is excited to support them through their efforts. We can’t wait to see what music these great young musicians release. And we look forward to their efforts of repopulating the blues genre with a new generation of blues artists and blues fans.
