The Trouble Tones capture Lightning In A Bottle

Lightning In A Bottle records is very pleased to announce the signing of the Atlanta based Trouble Tones. Led by Patrick Vining, The Trouble Tones have been a prime music attraction through out the southeastern US since their founding in 2017, quickly capturing the region’s club and festival circuit’s attention. This signing serves dual goals of providing LIAB Records its first presence on the east coast and opening the west coast market to The Trouble Tones.

While their sound runs the range of traditional to contemporary blues and then some, The Trouble Tones bring a variety of styles to their recordings and shows. The sax and guitar work brings the energy of a laser beam while Patrick’s authentic vocals take you on a journey, all accompanied by a deep pocket grooving rhythm section. Creative arrangements and solid musicianship abound with this band.

Their appropriately entitled debut album, “Straight Up”, is exactly that; straight up powerful blues. Containing seven original tunes written by Patrick and the band, the album swings, grinds, and does everything that you want your blues music to do. Recorded and released to coincide with their 2023 appearance at the Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge, “Straight Up” was released to solid airplay, great reviews, and strong sales in both their home region, and Memphis. Lightning In A Bottle Records will be re-releasing “Straight Up” later this summer.

The Trouble Tones ‘23 IBC run representing the Atlanta Blues Society was very well received and expanded their reach deeper into the south and central regions of the US. LIAB Records is anxious to bring The Trouble Tones to the west coast’s thriving blues market.
